Broadband4Devon was launched in November 2003 and was part-funded by the European Union as well as ten partners who provided additional funding, knowledge and resources. The purpose of Broadband4Devon was to contribute to the economic success of Devon by providing the ICT knowledge and subsidies to help businesses connect to broadband, and then use broadband as part of a successful business growth strategy. The project ended in March 2007.
Integralvision was responsible for the design and management of the Broadband4Devon web site. This involved developing a custom postcode checker for people to be able to make sure they were within the funding area. The site also featured an updatable news area, FAQs and links page.
Think Fish is the online tropical fish resource for everything you need to know about freshwater aquarium fish and tropical fish keeping. We were approached to develop the site by Peter Hiscock, one of the UK's foremost experts on keeping tropical fish and author of many books on the subject. Think Fish aims to be the No. 1 fish-keeping site on the Internet!
The site provides visitors with up to date and accurate information on every element of freshwater fish-keeping you can think of. Integralvision custom built the database tools to help visitors find the information they need quickly. Tropical fish fanatics can even create their perfect fish community using the site. The site features Flash animation, Advanced Search Tools and is totally controlled by the client using a purpose built Content Management System.
The site averages over 18,000 unique visitors per month, and has had almost a quarter of a million visitors since it conception a year ago. They now have over 11,000 members signed up!
Ionactive Consulting is a unique provider of Radiation Protection Adviser services for users of ionising radiation. Operating throughout the world, they provide advice to industry, regulators, museums, universities and schools.
The specially built Content Management System (CMS) allows Ionactive to update most areas of the site. The client can also use the CMS to add videos for their multimedia teaching section of the site.
The Dartmoor Virtual Tours website is an opportunity to explore aspects of Dartmoor's cultural heritage with the combination of Flash technology, 360 panoramic photographs, the spoken word and archive photographs.
The first property added was Higher Uppacott, a Grade I listed medieval longhouse which originally accommodated both people and animals. This also covers the deserted medieval settlement at Hound Tor. The final phase of the development of the site centered on Higher Uppacott, Princetown, Postbridge and Haytor. Most recently we have completely remodeled the whole site with a new look and 3D animation on the maps.
The River Tamar, together with its tributaries the Rivers Tavy and Lynher, forms part of the ancient border between the counties of Cornwall and Devon. The River runs almost sixty miles from the north coast near Bude, south to Plymouth Sound and almost separates Cornwall from the rest of England. The Tamar Valley Tourism Association (TAVATA) was formed in 2001 to encourage and promote quality tourism in the area. It is a not-for-profit organisation and the membership includes all business with an interest in tourism.
The website has been built to allow the public to quickly find places to stay, places to visit, things to do, places to eat, and things to buy within the Tamar Valley. The site is fully updateable by the client.
Commissioned by English Nature (Natural England), with partners in Holland, France, Wales, and England, The HEATH (Heathland, Environment, Agriculture, Tourism, Heritage) Project aims to reverse some of the decline in Europe's heathland. Funded through Interreg and the Heritage Lottery Fund, the project is reconnecting sites, advocating good land management techniques, encouraging local community involvement and promoting heathlands as a valuable resource.
This dual-language site is totally controlled by English Nature using a custom built Content Management System (CMS). Features include Flash animated maps showing the location of the heath projects, integrated Flash image gallery and an updateable News area.
Clothes to Nature offer a wide selection of original T-shirts including Wildlife and Fantasy. Clothes to Nature is a UK based, family run business selling animal T-shirts, long sleeve sweat shirts and other clothing from the renowned American company The Mountain.
The site is an example of a classic e-commerce solution, with well laid out products, simple to use shopping cart and checkout with integrated payment gateway templates.
Due to the high quality and unique nature of the shoes made by Brodequin Shoemakers, Integralvision decided to come up with a radical design based on a circle.
You will not find many sites that look like this on the Internet. At the heart of the site is a custom shoe picker which allows you to design a shoe to your own specifications, including the colour of the laces!

Ultimate Game originally just wanted a web site but after initial meetings brought Integralvision in to provide a complete creative package: logos, branding, print and web banner adds, promotional handouts and stationary in addition to extensive web development.
The UK Safety Market website gives easy access to a wide range of companies offering health and safety services and products.
The site is managed by a simple to use Content Management System that allows the client to add advertisers, events and links. We were also responsible for all UK Safety Market's print advertising, leaflets, etc. We have recently added a facility to advertise UK safety jobs on the site.
A high performance Japanese car import company based in Devon.
Since the web site was launched we have been asked to produce stationery, newspaper and magazine ads and car decals. The site has recently had a makeover with a new look and extra features such as updateable In Stock page and a "Vehicle Alerts" service.
Tom's Garden Equipment is a premier source for garden tools and equipment. Based in Devon, they sell a wide range of lawn and garden equipment including lawn mowers, cultivators, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, brush cutters and shredders, all from leading manufacturers.
To give a fun, user friendly element to the site we created the character of Tom, who appears throughout. We also developed a Flash animation of Tom driving his tractor across the top of every page. Using a custom built e-commerce system, the client can completely control their product range and Special Offers. Other features include a Newsletter system and an add to Shortlist and product comparison feature.
The Gloveman, as its name suggests, is a specialist glove supplier to a wide range of trades, including dentists and car mechanics! The site was recently bought by a new owner and subsequently has had some redevelopment including a shopping cart style ordering system, a content management system and search engine friendly URLs. The site also benefits from a strong company branding that includes a new company logo and fun design.
Sawdye and Harris are a leading independent private practice of Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers and Estate Agents with offices in the towns of Ashburton, Chudleigh and Moretonhampstead and with livestock markets in Exeter and Newton Abbot. They have been successfully selling Country Estates, Farms and Houses across Devon since 1846.
Although Sawdye and Harris approached us to discuss a web site we were eventually asked to focus on their company branding. This included redesigning their company stationery.

They approached Integralvision to re-design the main Netshop web site. While we did not build this e-commerce solution we were heavily involved with the integration of our design into their backend system.
As a national voluntary organisation, NAPA acts as a consortium that brings together all voluntary and probation managed Approved Premises (formerly known as the National Association of Probation and Bail Hostels), in furtherance of the work they do in providing these community based residential facilities. NAPA has been involved in the support and development of approved residential provision for offenders since 1942, working in partnership with government and a wide range of organisations that are actively involved in the provision of approved residential premises.
Kollectomania sells a wide range of collectables - from Star Wars figures to phone cards. The company logo design was based around a friendly bug who guides you through.
The site is based on a heavily customised version of osCommerce. Emphasis is on ease of use for the customer. The client needed to be able to update the site themselves so we included a Content Management module to allow them to add new items for sale. The database is integrated with a secure PROTX payment gateway.
This brochure design was for the multi-million pound property development company Kemp Mews. As well as the corporate design we also took the photographs, dealt with the printers and produced all the stationery for the project.

Wholefood & Pet food supply specialists, Fiona's offers an easy way to order organic food and products for their customers in the Devon area. Over 5,000 products are listed on the site with more than half of them organic.
You can order online and then arrange to collect your order from their premises. We have recently completed Phase II of the site, which allows customers to pay online by credit card and receive a full delivery service.
Fingals is one of the most comfortable and quirky hotels in Devon.
They have had a huge success with their web site with guests "without fail, commenting on its excellence and how original and different it is". We understand that over half their bookings come via the web.
The hotel was recently included in the "Top 10 summer destinations" by The Independent on Sunday.
